JAECOO UK has announced the pricing and specifications for the JAECOO E5, its first all-electric model in the UK, starting at £27,505 on the road (OTR). The JAECOO E5 is a compact, city-friendly alternative to the internal combustion engine (ICE) JAECOO 5, offering zero-emission capabilities while retaining its adventurous character.
The SUV showcases a bold design with an aerodynamic front that enhances efficiency. It is powered by a 61.1 kWh Lithium-Iron Phosphate battery and a 207 PS electric motor, providing a range of up to 248 miles on a single charge. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 7.7 seconds. Charging is convenient with an 80 kW DC fast charger, which can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 27 minutes.
Focusing on practicality, the JAECOO E5 features vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing drivers to power devices such as laptops and camping gear. The interior showcases a digital-first layout centred around a 13.2-inch touchscreen, with standard features like wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, along with generous storage space offering a boot capacity of 480 litres.
The E5 is available in two trim levels—Pure and Luxury. The Pure trim features a six-speaker SONY audio system and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), while the Luxury trim offers a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and upgraded audio. The vehicle also has a chassis tuned for UK roads and includes 19 ADAS features for improved driving confidence.

Every JAECOO E5 includes a seven-year or 100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to durability. Importantly, there is no mileage limit within the first three years, and RAC Home Start is provided as standard.
The JAECOO E5 starts at £27,505 for the Pure trim and £30,505 for the Luxury trim. First UK deliveries are expected in October through the OMODA & JAECOO dealer network. The model will also be available with a pure petrol powertrain, offering options for both traditional and all-electric versions.
