Kia is making waves across Europe with the launch of the K4, a hatchback that skillfully bridges the C- and D-segments. This model embodies Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy by combining modern needs with spacious interiors, luxury features, and advanced technology.
Design and Space
Measuring 4,440 mm in length and 1,850 mm in width, the K4 provides rear passengers with an impressive 964 mm of legroom and 973 mm of headroom, along with a generous 438 litres of cargo capacity. Highlights include a floating roofline, Star Map Signature Lighting, and a striking Sparkling Yellow colour. The sportier GT-Line trim features dynamic accents and a sleek three-spoke steering wheel.
Powertrain Options
The K4 offers a range of powertrains, including a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 115 PS and a 1.6-litre T-GDi engine (150 or 180 PS) paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A full hybrid version is expected by 2026.
Technology and Safety
Inside, the K4 features a 12.3-inch panoramic display, wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and an available Harman Kardon® audio system. Safety features include ADAS systems like Blind-Spot View Monitor, Smartcruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Looking Ahead
With its attractive design and innovative features, the K4 is poised to transform the hatchback market. Production will take place at Kia’s new Mexican factory, with UK showrooms expected to display the K4 by late 2025. Keep an eye out for pricing and specifications!
