Dacia has just announced the UK pricing for the updated 2026 Sandero, which will start from £14,765 on-the-road, while the rugged Sandero Stepway will be available from £16,065 on-the-road.
The upgraded line-up goes on sale in the UK from today, offering even greater value for money with a sharper look, the latest technology, and improved efficiency across the range. Now, more than ever, Sandero and Sandero Stepway provide increased value for money with a price-to-features ratio that remains unique in the market, with Sandero continuing to be the UK’s most affordable car.
For 2026, both models receive a refreshed look with Dacia’s new inverted-‘T’ LED lights and redesigned front and rear bumpers, giving them a more modern and robust appearance. The Sandero Stepway appears even more prepared for adventure with additional body protection in Starkle®. Inside, both models now include Dacia’s smart YouClip® accessory system, a larger 10-inch multimedia screen with improved connectivity, and a wireless phone charger. The Sandero also benefits from a quicker TCe 100 engine for a smoother everyday drive.
Sandero is Europe’s best-selling retail car, a position it has held since 2017. In 2024, Sandero was even Europe’s best-selling car across all channels, and the first Dacia to sell more than 300,000 units in a single year (309,392 units, an increase of 14.5% on 2023, including Sandero Stepway, which accounts for around two-thirds of the total).
The new Sandero comes in three versions: Essential, Expression, and Journey. The tough Extreme version is the top choice for the Sandero Stepway.
Priced from £14,765 on the road, the Sandero Essential offers an impressive array of standard features, including cruise control with speed limiter, electric front windows, air conditioning, and Dacia’s clever Media Control system, which uses a smartphone and the dedicated Dacia app to deliver a straightforward yet innovative infotainment experience. Essential also comes with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition with Intelligent Speed Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and more.
Moving up to the Expression version, starting at £15,765 on the road, offers more comfort and technology. Features include Dacia’s special 16-inch Flex wheels, front fog lights, automatic wipers, electric rear windows, and heated side mirrors that can be adjusted with a button. Inside, the materials and finishes are upgraded, and the entertainment system is enhanced to a 10-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Rear parking sensors and a backup camera are also included.
At the top of the Sandero range, the Journey version offers more features and a higher quality feel, starting at £17,065 on the road. It adds 16-inch alloy wheels, an electronic parking brake, a tall centre armrest with storage, automatic air conditioning, and extra safety features such as Blind Spot Warning and Extended Grip. The Journey also comes with a Multiview camera system to make parking easier. The entertainment system is upgraded to Dacia’s best setup: the 10-inch Media Nav Live system, which includes built-in navigation, wireless phone connection, and wireless phone charging.
All Sandero Stepway models now come equipped with 16-inch wheels, additional body protection in Starkle®, and roof bars (which can be upgraded on Expression and higher) as standard. The Sandero Stepway Extreme also features exclusive Copper Brown paint, upgraded MicroCloud/Copper Brown interior details, and distinctive 16-inch black alloy wheels. Comfort is improved with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, an electronic parking brake with an armrest, and extra storage.
