Collecting Cars has launched the newest edition of Sealed Bids. This lineup features hypercars, motorsport legends, and modern icons, including a 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS, a rare 1992 Audi S4 GTO in Rothmans livery, a 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO, a Ferrari Classiche-certified 1972 Dino 246 GT, an ultra-rare 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, and an eye-catching early Lamborghini Diablo in white with a red interior.

These extraordinary machines span generations and continents, from legendary racing cars to modern hypercars, offering collectors a rare chance to secure truly iconic vehicles. They form the largest selection of Sealed Bids cars released in a single month since the format launched in Q3 2025. This Sealed Bids announcement follows a record-breaking year for Collecting Group: Collecting Cars achieved over $320 million (€275 million) in 2025, up more than 12% year-on-year, while sister brand Watch Collecting surpassed 6,000 watches sold, generating over $130 million (€115 million) in transaction value.

Collecting Cars has chosen several of these standout vehicles to be shown at Rétromobile 2026, allowing enthusiasts to see them up close before the sealed bidding starts. Among them is the 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS, a notable hypercar with a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1,160hp. Only 25 were made. This car was first delivered to the Middle East, then moved to Europe, and is now registered in the UK. Its Snow White paint and exposed carbon-fibre details combine high performance with everyday usability.

Also on display is the 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, which celebrates Porsche’s motorsport history and is limited to only 77 cars worldwide. This is car number 37. It has a custom 4.2-litre flat-six engine, a full carbon-fibre body, and bold 935-inspired aerodynamics. The car is still in delivery-mileage condition and promises an intense track experience.

Completing the Sealed Bids display at Rétromobile is the 1992 Lamborghini Diablo, a classic 1990s supercar known for its bold design, powerful 5.7-litre V12 engine, and rear-wheel drive. This early European model reportedly had only one private owner and features a rare Bianco Impact exterior with Rosso leather interior, making it especially distinctive.

Edward Lovett, Founder and CEO of Collecting Cars, said: “Sealed Bids brings together the very best of what Collecting Cars has to offer. From hypercars to pure-breed racers and certified best-of-the-best road cars, there’s something here for every collector, anywhere in the world. This edition is a celebration of performance, design and history – a chance to own vehicles that define their eras.

Looking back at 2025, Sealed Bids established itself as a proven and trusted way to sell exceptional cars globally. Its success has given collectors worldwide the reassurance that this private, secure format is a reliable route to acquire some of the rarest and most desirable vehicles on the market.”

Collecting Cars is also offering a 1992 Audi S4 GTO. Only two of these were factory-built for South Africa’s WesBank Modified Championship. This car was driven to victory by Hans-Joachim Stuck and later helped Chris Aberdein win Audi’s manufacturer title. It features a turbocharged five-cylinder IMSA GTO engine with 720bhp, Quattro all-wheel drive, and its original Rothmans livery.

This month’s selection also includes two standout road-going Ferraris. The 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is a well-preserved classic with a matching-numbers 2.4-litre V6 engine and Ferrari Classiche certification. Originally sold in the UK, it spent most of its life in Australia before returning in 2015 and still has its original book pack. The 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO, developed from the 599XX track car, features a front-mounted V12 engine producing 670PS and a six-speed paddle-shift gearbox. Delivered new to Switzerland and reportedly owned by just one person, it comes in Grigio Silverstone with a Nero interior and extensive carbon-fibre trim.

Sealed Bids is part of Collecting Cars’ ongoing effort to connect collectors with rare and exceptional vehicles, using a private and secure bidding process that offers access to some of the world’s most sought-after cars. The auction runs from 29 January to 5 February 2026. For more details, visit the Sealed Bids website at collectingcars.com/sealed-bids.
