AC Cars, the United Kingdom’s oldest active carmaker, has unveiled the production-ready AC Cobra GT Coupe. Blending the classic Cobra design with a fixed roof and sculpted rear, the GT Coupe marks a significant milestone as the company commemorates its 125th anniversary.

The new supercar expands GT’s reach into AC Cars’ global market.

With a more aggressive stance than the GT Roadster, the new coupe draws on motorsport-inspired details for sharper on-road presence. Its public debut highlights the car’s bold proportions and performance intent.

Sharing about 75% of its engineering with the GT Roadster, the GT Coupe benefits from upgrades refined throughout testing.

The coupe is available in both left- and right-hand drive and is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine, producing up to 730 PS. It features an aluminium spaceframe chassis and a bespoke carbon fibre body for an elevated driving experience.

AC Cars CEO David Conza described the GT Coupe as a unique chapter for the company, which plans to scale production from 100 to up to 1,000 cars annually while maintaining craftsmanship and exclusivity.

Production of the GT Coupe will be highly limited, with each car custom-built for its buyer. Prices start at about £234,300 plus taxes for the naturally aspirated version, and £256,300 plus taxes for the supercharged model. Deliveries are set to begin in 2028, following completion of GT Roadster orders.

Interested buyers can now inquire about allocations through the company’s website, ac.cars.
