Swedish AI video pioneers Phyron have set up a subsidiary in Brighton, UK. With revenue up by over 70% in the last year, Phyron’s growth has been spearheaded by the UK market, which now accounts for almost half of the company’s global revenue.
The company helps dealers sell more cars with AI-driven video and image technology, and is already working with 1700+ dealerships in the UK, aiming to double this number over the next year.
Phyron plans to launch new products for the UK market and hire at least 35 new employees. The new UK headquarters is in Stanmer Park, Brighton, with great transport links to London and the rest of the country.
“AI is such a hot topic, and something that is clearly being embraced by UK car dealers,” said Johan Sundstrand, CEO and founder of Phyron. “We want Phyron to be at the forefront of AI tech adoption in the country, and have been looking to ramp up investment in the UK for a while now”
“We also hope to bring a little bit of Swedish thinking and culture to our operations in Brighton. We purposely chose the Stanmer Park location for its natural surroundings and positive impact on our team’s wellbeing,” Johan added.
Phyron is a platform used by car retailers in the UK and Europe to sell their stock faster. It is powered by AI and automation and requires no input or effort from dealer staff. Phyron acts as an outsourced video and image marketing team.
The platform can enhance a dealer’s car-buying funnel from website to social media with automated videos and improved images. Phyron comes at a low cost per car, equivalent to the price of a coffee.
Phyron now counts over 3000 dealers as customers across 30 countries.
