Renault has had an exciting year, being named the “Most Exciting Car Brand” at the Cinch Car of the Year Awards 2024. The Renault Clio hybrid was awarded “Best Hatchback” and was a runner-up for “Best Hybrid.”

Additionally, the all-electric Renault 5 E-Tech was a close runner-up for “Best Electric Car,” and the Scenic E-Tech 100% electric secured a top-three position in the “Best Family SUV” category.

Sam Sheehan, Motoring Editor at Cinch, praised Renault’s success, noting the effective relaunch of the iconic 5 model. He highlighted the Clio’s latest hybrid version as the best in its category, commending its attractive design, efficient powertrain, and spacious interior.

Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault UK, expressed pride in recognising their Renaulution strategy, emphasising Clio’s evolution to better meet the needs of today’s drivers.

The Clio’s E-Tech hybrid system, developed with Renault F1 teams, offers 145 bhp, a range of up to 550 miles, and fuel economy of up to 67.3 mpg. A standard petrol version and various trim levels, including the sporty Esprit Alpine, are also available.
