BYD, recognised as the world’s foremost producer of New-Energy Vehicles—including plug-in hybrid and fully electric models—has officially announced the Ti7 for the UK market. This seven-seat SUV, a strong global performer for the brand, marks BYD’s largest and most adaptable model to date, targeting larger families and consumers with active lifestyles.

With dimensions of 5,146mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,865mm in height, the Ti7 establishes a formidable presence on UK roads. Its front fascia features a distinctive lower bumper finished in contrasting titanium, complemented by a dual-layer LED lighting signature that underscores the flagship’s bold design language.

The vehicle’s design language extends throughout, with robust, boxy proportions accentuated by pronounced wheel arch extensions, a strong shoulder line, and a vertical rear profile. Inside, the Ti7 offers three rows of seating and substantial cargo capacity, catering to the demands of families and adventurous drivers alike.

Powering the Ti7 is BYD’s advanced Dual Mode Performance (DM-p) plug-in hybrid system, integrating two electric motors for all-wheel drive and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This combination delivers a 0-62mph acceleration in just 4.8 seconds and boasts an electric-only WLTP range of 79 miles, highlighting the model’s impressive efficiency and performance credentials.

Comprehensive information on pricing and full specifications is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
