Suzuki is set to launch its 10-year Service Activated Warranty Scheme for UK and Irish customers, free of charge and upgraded from the previous seven-year coverage established in Spring 2023.
As part of this initiative, Suzuki will also introduce the e Vitara, its first electric model, which comes with a leading 10-year warranty on the EV battery—two years longer than competitors and exceeding the eight-year industry standard.

Starting May 1st, the Service Activated Warranty applies once the vehicle’s manufacturer warranty of three years or 60,000 miles ends and is booked for its next service at a Suzuki dealership. This warranty can be renewed until the vehicle reaches 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The warranty offers customers peace of mind by covering major components. It can also be transferred to a new owner if the vehicle is sold during the warranty period, and it is applicable even for vehicles purchased privately or with gaps in dealer service history.
Denis Houston, Director of Aftersales at Suzuki GB PLC, emphasised that this extension will enhance customer experience and retention, ensuring top-quality service and genuine parts from Suzuki dealers.
Suzuki has received multiple accolades for customer service, including recognition at the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards and being ranked the Number 1 automotive brand in UKCSI eight times since 2019.
