BYD has achieved another record-breaking quarter here in the UK, with over 10,000 new vehicles registered, bringing the total for 2025 to nearly 20,000, more than double the entire year of 2024.
With a remarkable year-on-year increase of 567%, BYD is now the fastest-growing brand in the UK. The SEAL U DM-I led the sales with 8,700 units, boosting the brand’s market share to 1.8% year-to-date, and reaching a new high of 2.5% in June.
Looking ahead, the newly launched DOLPHIN SURF aims to make waves in the EV city car market, priced from £18,650. It offers various battery capacities to cater to different driving needs.
