Valhalla is an extraordinary mid-engined hybrid supercar from Aston Martin, merging Formula 1® technologies with stunning design and thrilling driving dynamics. This landmark vehicle marks several milestones for the brand: it’s Aston Martin’s first series-production mid-engined supercar and first plug-in hybrid with a dedicated EV range. It features a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 engine—the most powerful V8 ever in an Aston Martin. Additionally, it introduces an innovative 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) that includes an e-motor and electronic rear differential (E-diff).

The design of Valhalla reflects a new aesthetic, combining high-performance capabilities with the elegant, flawless lines characteristic of Aston Martin, enhanced by active aerodynamics. Collaboration with Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT) has been essential, allowing Aston Martin to push supercar engineering to new heights.

Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark describes Valhalla as the brand’s vision for the future of ultra-luxury performance. He emphasises the transformation of Aston Martin through cutting-edge technology and outstanding performance, culminating in a driver-focused supercar that offers hypercar performance while being practical for everyday use. Hallmark believes Valhalla represents the most elegant and exciting product in the market, positioning Aston Martin as a leader in technology, performance, and customer experience.

The extreme Valkyrie hypercar greatly influences the Valhalla cockpit, which features a clean, minimalist design that immerses both driver and passenger in an unforgettable supercar experience. Key elements include raised footwells for a low hip-to-heel seating position and lightweight, one-piece carbon fibre seats that provide excellent support while enhancing the driver’s connection to the vehicle. The steering wheel, crafted from one piece of carbon fibre, takes inspiration from F1®.

Aston Martin’s new interior design language includes the Amphitheatre line, which wraps around the cabin, creating a cockpit feel. A carbon brace spans the cabin, supporting a floating Instrument Panel designed to enhance the driving experience while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.

The innovative Aston Martin Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system features a clear column-mounted display for road and track use. Its Race mode layout includes a large linear tachometer and shift lights. The system also offers a central touchscreen that showcases new EV features, providing real-time insights into PHEV power flow and energy management.

Valhalla’s design emphasises performance, utilising composite materials like recycled forged carbon fibre to create a unique visual identity. High-performance exterior coatings inspired by motorsport further enhance its capabilities.

Customers can personalise their Valhalla through the Q by Aston Martin service, allowing for bespoke designs tailored to their preferences. With a limited run of 999 units expected to begin delivery in the second half of 2025, Valhalla exemplifies exclusivity and luxury.
