Isuzu UK has just launched its new BIK (Benefit in Kind) campaign, encouraging customers to secure their D-Max before significant tax changes take effect in April 2025. This initiative aims to raise awareness of forthcoming changes, dispel social media myths, and provide accurate information to help customers make informed decisions.
Starting April 2025, HMRC’s updated legislation will classify double cab pick-ups as cars rather than commercial vehicles for BIK and Capital allowance purposes. This will result in increased tax liabilities for buyers and businesses.
The campaign will leverage digital and print channels to emphasise this change, featuring visuals of the Isuzu D-Max with a thought bubble: “From 6th April 2025, I’ll identify as a car!” This serves as a reminder for businesses and buyers to take advantage of current tax benefits.
Alan Able, Managing Director of Isuzu UK, stated: “This campaign reflects our commitment to keeping customers informed. HMRC’s decision marks a significant shift in taxing double cab pick-ups. We want to ensure our customers understand the implications and encourage them to act now to avoid higher costs later.”
Don’t miss out—order your Isuzu D-Max before April 6, 2025.
