After its world premiere last August at “The Quail” during California’s Monterey Car Week, the Maserati GT2 Stradale will launch in Europe in April.
This road-legal version of the GT2 was unveiled in Andalusia, where key stakeholders and customers experienced both its racing performance and on-road comfort. The test drive began in Marbella, winding through the scenic Parque Nacional Sierra de las Nieves and ending at the Ascari circuit near Ronda.
The 5,425-metre track, named after an Italian Formula 1 champion who raced for Maserati, highlights the brand’s rich motorsport heritage. The Maserati GT2, part of a return to racing, recently succeeded in the fantastic GT2 European Series.
Designed for both track and road, the GT2 Stradale combines exceptional performance with everyday driving comfort. It features a top speed of 324 km/h and an output of 640 CV from its V6 Nettuno engine, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
The GT2 Stradale also showcases several liveries through the Fuoriserie customisation program. Santo Ficili, Maserati CEO, stated that this model epitomises the brand’s performance and elegance. Production began last December in Modena, and it is limited to just 914 units—a nod to Maserati’s founding year, 1914.
