Award-winning FOW Car Supermarket is celebrating a significant milestone: 400,000 satisfied customers over 66 years! What began as a family farm in Holmes Chapel has transformed into a 15-acre hypermarket in Winsford, Cheshire, and is set to expand in Trafford to accommodate more than 700 cars.
On 21 February 2025, Michael Shiels (in the middle of the photo) collected his new BMW X1, becoming FOW’s 400,000th customer. He expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m completely overwhelmed. This is my 15th car from FOW, and it certainly won’t be my last!”
This achievement is attributed to the teamwork of John and Edward Ford, who are either side of Michael Shiels and are the grandsons of founder Vernon Ford. John remarked on their dedication to family values and customer care, while Edward highlighted the growth opportunities ahead, with a target of reaching 500,000 customers in the next seven years.
FOW is set for ongoing success and intends to improve the car shopping experience, cementing its position as the preferred Car Supermarket by 2025.
