Milltek is expanding its Modern Classic range of performance exhausts with enhanced V2 versions for highly sought-after vehicle models.
Updated exhaust systems have been developed for the Audi RS4 B7, BMW E36, and E90 M3 generations, as well as the Mk4 Volkswagen Golf R32. Each model produces an enhanced exhaust sound while preserving a period-correct appearance.
The redesigned Audi RS4 B7 Cat-Back system features an active H-pipe with an additional valve, which closes when the rear silencer valve is open. This design provides a Jekyll-and-Hyde character to the exhaust, offering a silent mode for everyday driving and a sharper tone when desired, all without drone. Milltek also offers an EC-approved system for the RS4 B7.
BMW M3 owners can achieve an OEM+ look and feel with Milltek’s Cat-Back system designed for the E36 3.0 and 3.2 Evo M3 models, featuring 70mm tips. This setup can also be used on the other six-cylinder E36 models to amplify the engine’s iconic sound.
The E90 generation of BMW M3 is also catered to with Milltek’s latest Cat-Back system, which features left and right axle pipes, silencers, and valves. A key fob controller enables drivers to open and close the valves for a more aggressive exhaust tone when desired, while OE-style tips preserve the vehicle’s standard appearance.
Another modern classic to receive an updated V2 system from Milltek is the Mk4 Volkswagen Golf R32. Its powerful V6 engine is enhanced by a rear silencer with revised internals, delivering a deeper tone and more of the “wookie” sounds that fans of this car appreciate. When paired with Milltek cats and headers, this setup results in no drone, and the silencer can be offered in a new brushed stainless steel finish. It’s also a direct replacement for the previous R32 version, making it easy for existing customers to upgrade.
