South Cave Tractors in Brough, East Yorkshire, is the first and only Mercedes-Benz Unimog body builder and dealer in the UK to earn official Unimog Partner status.
The Unimog Partner programme recognises dealers and bodybuilders who meet Mercedes-Benz’s high standards for supporting Unimog customers in many areas, including agriculture, forestry, municipal services, and specialist industries. The Unimog is a specialist commercial vehicle designed for tough jobs and all types of terrain.
To become a Unimog Partner, dealers go through a thorough accreditation process. This includes an on-site audit to check showroom and workshop facilities, technical and bodybuilding skills, and customer service standards. Only a few Mercedes-Benz Trucks dealers worldwide have earned this status.
South Cave Tractors’ long history as a Unimog specialist for over 50 years was a key reason for their successful application. They have shown outstanding expertise in sales, after-sales support, and specialist bodybuilding services.

The Unimog range covers gross weights from 7.5 to 16.5 tonnes and includes two main types: the UGE implement carrier (U219-U535) and the UHE extreme off-roader (U4023-U5023), both of which can be fitted with various body types.
