The New Renault Master E-Tech was named “Best Electric Van” at the 2025 DrivingElectric Awards, praised for its driving dynamics and practical payload options.
Paul Barker, Editor of DrivingElectric, noted that despite increased competition, the Master E-Tech’s smooth driving experience and large cargo space make it highly functional. This award adds to the 53 accolades the Master received in 2024, including being named International Van of the Year.
The Master E-Tech features a leading range of up to 285 miles and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system to power tools. An 87 kWh battery drives a 105 kW motor, providing 300 Nm of torque. A 130 kW DC fast charger can add 142 miles of range in just 39 minutes, while a 22 kW AC charger charges from 10% to 100% in under four hours.

With a modern design, a payload capacity of up to 1,482kg, and a 2.5-tonne towing capability, the interior offers enhanced comfort with a 10-inch OpenR Link touchscreen and Google built-in services. Advanced aerodynamics and up to 20 driver assistance systems improve safety and the driving experience.
Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault UK, emphasized that the Master E-Tech represents the peak of Renault’s electric van offerings, providing an exceptional combination of comfort, efficiency, and capability.
