Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has officially opened orders in the UK for its new flagship model, the Transporter Sportline. The latest addition to the Transporter lineup is available in both Panel Van and Kombi configurations, with options for different wheelbases and diesel or electric powertrains. An eHybrid variant is set to join the range at a later date, broadening the appeal for customers seeking greater flexibility.
Designed to build on the performance reputation of its predecessors, the new Transporter Sportline features a host of exclusive styling elements. These include bespoke front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, gloss black grille, a signature red grille accent, and a 29mm lowered suspension. The vehicle also rides on distinctive 19-inch dual-finish alloy wheels.
Inside, the Sportline grade offers a premium, driver-focused environment. Highlights include hand-crafted eco-leather sports seats with red stitching, Sportline-branded floor mats, and high-gloss black display surrounds.
Pricing for the Transporter Sportline Panel Van starts at £51,105 (excluding VAT), while the Kombi model starts at £53,085 (excluding VAT). With VAT and on-the-road costs included, the T32 Panel Van Sportline SWB 170 PS 2.0 TDI 8-Speed Auto is listed at £62,767, and the T32 Kombi Sportline SWB 170 PS 2.0 TDI 8-Speed Auto at £65,143. Additional model derivatives are also available.
To mark the launch, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is rolling out a series of finance offers across the new Transporter range. Notably, the Transporter Sportline Panel Van SWB 170PS 2.0TDI 8-Speed Auto is available on a Solutions Personal Contract Plan at £589 per month, which includes a £5,000 manufacturer deposit contribution. First customer deliveries are anticipated from May 2026.
