BYD, the world’s largest New Energy Vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, recently delivered a brand new BYD DOLPHIN to Mr. James Horan from Milton Keynes—just in time for Christmas—along with a Shell Recharge card.
The campaign, which ran from September 1 to November 19, allowed participants to win prizes by booking a test drive of any BYD model. Prizes included the BYD DOLPHIN, a weekend rental of the car, JBL wireless speakers, and Tile Mate key trackers. Mr. Horan expressed his excitement: “I’m thrilled! I’ve been driving electric vehicles since 2021 and am excited to own a BYD.”
Steve Beattie, Sales and Marketing Director at BYD UK, stated that BYD is committed to making electric motoring accessible. The BYD DOLPHIN features a playful design, versatility, and advanced technology—all starting at £26,195 on the road.
In March 2023, BYD and Shell partnered to enhance electric motoring access. New BYD customers receive a Shell Recharge card, granting access to 700,000 charging points across Europe and 8,000 in the UK, along with a £0.24 per kWh discount on Shell’s rapid and ultra-rapid charging network.
