BYD, a leader in new energy vehicles, showcased its innovative technologies at Auto Shanghai 2025, unveiling several new models, including a sports car concept and an estate/wagon powered by Super DM hybrid technology.
The all-new SEALION 6 DM-i and SEALION 6 EV showcase BYD’s hybrid and electric vehicle capabilities. Utilizing BYD’s DM Hybrid architecture and e-Platform 3.0 Evo, these mid-size SUVs incorporate cutting-edge technology and family-friendly practicality, measuring 4,810 mm in length and featuring distinct front-end styling.
The SEAL 6 DM-i Wagon, BYD’s first estate model, combines practicality and stylish design with low operating costs, measuring 4,850 mm in length and 1,505 mm in height. It provides generous cabin space and is powered by BYD’s 1.5-litre Dual Mode hybrid technology for excellent fuel economy.
BYD also introduced the Dynasty-D, a full-size concept SUV measuring 5.3 meters in length, featuring a 2.4-meter integrated light bar and an eye-catching design. Its interior combines bamboo inlays and traditional techniques with advanced technology in an eight-screen digital cockpit.

DENZA has unveiled the DENZA Z Concept Sports Car, crafted for performance and aerodynamics, and it features an adjustable rear wing. Its carbon-fiber interior incorporates safety innovations such as a steer-by-wire system and real-time damping adjustments.
YANGWANG launched the U8L, a six-seat SUV that measures 5,400 mm in length, providing spacious three-row seating and advanced safety features.
At Auto Shanghai 2025, BYD’s off-road brand FANGCHENGBAO showcased models such as the BAO 5, BAO 8, and the newly launched BAO 3, accompanied by a live demonstration of its intelligent in-car drone system.
