The all-new Mazda6e is Mazda’s latest fully electric model in Europe, blending a stylish hatchback design with practicality.
“The exterior reflects our ‘Authentic Modern’ design philosophy,” says Jo Stenuit, Director of Mazda’s European design studio. It’s sleek, coupé-inspired silhouette features a short rear deck, merging the sporty look of a saloon with the functionality of a five-door hatchback.
Mazda’s “Kodo – Soul of Motion” design is evident in its fluid surfaces and low profile, enhanced by the Aero-Fusiform shape that promotes aerodynamic elegance. Sculpted door panels, inspired by speedboats, and four cylindrical taillights pay homage to Mazda’s heritage.
The Mazda6e features a luminous signature wing at the front, showcasing a dynamic light animation as a charging indicator. With frameless doors and an electrically extendable spoiler, the vehicle combines style with enhanced aerodynamics.
Inside, the cabin draws inspiration from Japanese simplicity, adhering to the design principle of ‘ma’—the power of empty space. A floating horizontal dashboard and a pronounced center console enhance openness and focus for the driver. The minimalist design features intuitive control placements, while the panoramic glass roof allows natural light to enter.
Comfort is emphasized with mono-form front seats and premium upholstery options, featuring stylish artificial leather and luxurious Tan Nappa leather. Subtle chrome accents and stitching enhance sophistication.
