Jameel Motors Farizon Auto has welcomed its first delivery of Farizon SV vans to the UK, with the initial batch arriving in Felixstowe, Suffolk. This marks the beginning of the launch of eight variants, with further deliveries expected.
The introduction of Farizon, a subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, is on track for sales to start in Q1 2025 and customer deliveries in Q2 2025. The vans will range from the L1 H1 (4,990 mm long; 1,980 mm high) to the L3 H3 (5,995 mm long; 2,500 mm high), with battery options of 67 kWh and 83 kWh LFP for the L1 and L2 variants, and either an 83 kWh LFP or 106 kWh NMC battery for the L3 H3. The WLTP range is between 177 and 247 miles, with an urban range of up to 342 miles. Payload capacity is up to 1,390 kg, and most sales are expected for the L1 H1 and L2 H2 83 kWh models.
The Farizon SV has received a Platinum safety award from Euro NCAP, scoring 85 points, making it one of the safest large vans in the UK and the top-ranked Chinese electric commercial vehicle. It has undergone extensive testing to meet all European standards for safety and durability.
Tom Carney, Managing Director of Jameel Motors Farizon Auto, stated, “The arrival of the first UK-spec vans sends a strong message to UK retailers and customers: we mean business. We’re on track to meet our timelines and are engaging with customers and partners ahead of sales.”
UK test drives of the Farizon SV are set for late February, with specifications and pricing to be confirmed soon.
