A historical piece from Stewart’s attempts to compete in the Indianapolis 500, reflecting his status as a three-time World Champion.
Despite leading for 40 laps in the 1966 race, he lost oil pressure in his Lola T-90 and the victory slipped away.
The race suit offered was made for Sir Jackie Stewart for the 1966 race. Although he didn’t wear it during the race, a photograph shows him in the suit in the pit lane. Stewart suits are rare, offering a unique chance to own something from the legendary Scottish champion.
