The Dacia Sandriders Team Head To Portugal Rally-Raid.

The Dacia Sandriders team is prepared to compete in Portugal as the FIA World Rally-Raid season resumes after the summer break.

Excitement grows as the Dacia Sandriders gear up for an unforgettable journey to Iberia next week for the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship’s thrilling final stage! From 21 to 28 September, Rally-Raid Portugal will feature stunning stages across Portugal and Spain, covering a competitive distance of 1,433.05 kilometres.

The Dacia Sandriders are back as a trio with Gutiérrez returning alongside Al-Attiyah and Loeb.

The Dacia Sandriders are fielding a strong three-car line-up for round four of the five-event W2RC season. Following successful runs in Abu Dhabi and South Africa, the team is currently in second place in the Manufacturers’ standings, while leading in the Drivers’ and Navigators’ categories.

Team Principal Tiphanie Isnard expressed optimism about the event, emphasising the importance of the driver-navigator bond. As the penultimate round approaches, the excitement is palpable with mainly gravel stages that echo a world championship rally.

Challenging, fast-paced stages await in Portugal and Spain as Al-Attiyah aims to maintain his lead in the Drivers’ standings.

Kicking off in Grândola, the event starts with a Prologue on September 23. Crews will race along quick, winding dirt tracks to overnight stops in Grândola and later, Badajoz, Spain. After an exciting loop stage in Lisbon on September 28, the Dacia Sandriders aim to leave a strong impression in this tough competition.
