MINI is set to unveil its updated lineup at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, including the debut of the first electric MINI John Cooper Works E PROtotype as it takes on the iconic hillclimb. This marks a major milestone as the first electric MINI John Cooper Works model, featuring an advanced electric powertrain and innovative design, showcasing MINI’s dedication to innovation and electromobility.

Set to make its world premiere later this year, the MINI John Cooper Works E represents a bold step forward in MINI’s evolution, combining the brand’s rich heritage with cutting-edge technology. The future John Cooper Works lineup will include both petrol and all-electric models, all of which will be on display in the First Glance paddock throughout the festival.

In addition to the new electric model, visitors can expect to see a range of other models on display, such as the MINI Countryman, MINI Aceman, and MINI Cooper in both three-door and the newly announced five-door variants. The MINI Cooper Electric will also be featured in Electric Avenue.

Visitors to Goodwood will also have the opportunity to experience the MINI Mixed Reality, where virtual and real worlds come together. Visitors can get involved in a unique 10-minute journey through the MINI universe while “driving” a MINI Cooper Electric or a MINI Aceman, thanks to the power of virtual reality. This experience is located at Car Park M.
