Broad Arrow Auctions, a subsidiary of Hagerty (NYSE: HGTY), is set to feature a rare, low-mileage Ferrari Monza SP2 at the upcoming Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Auction, scheduled for 16-17 May 2026.

Unveiled in 2018 with the Monza SP1, the Monza SP2 is part of Ferrari’s exclusive Icona series.

First unveiled in 2018 alongside the Monza SP1, the Monza SP2 belongs to Ferrari’s exclusive Icona series, which pays homage to legendary models from the brand’s storied past, such as the 1948 Ferrari 166MM Barchetta, 750 Monza, and 860 Monza. Unlike its single-seater sibling, the SP2 features two seats and an additional headrest fairing for the passenger.

Based on the 812 Superfast, the Monza SP2 combines a carbon fibre barchetta body with the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine from the 812. At launch, it represented Ferrari’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine, producing 798 hp and 719 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.9 seconds.

Presented as new, having only driven 417 kilometres at the time of cataloguing.

Joe Twyman, Vice President of Sales for Broad Arrow’s EMEA Region, commented on the addition: “Following the world-record setting sale of the first Ferrari Monza SP2 in North America at our Amelia Auction, we are pleased to offer this exceptionally low-mileage SP2 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Auction. Icona series cars are highly coveted by Ferrari collectors and rarely come up for sale, particularly in such unique specifications. We anticipate strong interest from international collectors when it crosses the podium at Villa Erba.”

Chassis no. 261538 exemplifies modern sports car engineering and is designed for events such as the Mille Miglia. The absence of a windscreen is offset by Ferrari’s innovative ‘Virtual Windshield’—an aerodynamic solution that channels airflow over the cockpit. This feature is part of a comprehensive aerodynamic package that enhances speed and downforce, promising an unparalleled driving experience.

With just 417 kilometres on the odometer at the time of cataloguing, this Monza SP2 is presented in near-new condition. Its striking two-tone colour scheme of Rosso California with a Grigio Coburn nose section and Argento Nürburgring accents harkens back to Ferrari’s historic racing liveries. The interior features Jeans Aunde Blu fabric and Pelle Elmo Blue leather, complete with the Cavallino Rampante embroidered on the headrests. Race-inspired elements include four-point safety harnesses and a pair of carbon fibre helmets by Berluti, supplied by the factory.

With its custom paintwork and wide range of options, this is among the most desirable Icona series Ferraris for any Ferraristi.

Daniele Turrisi, Consignment Consultant at Broad Arrow Auctions and Private Sales, noted: “Offered only to the most discerning Ferrari clients at its launch, the Monza SP2 stands as one of the most collectable Ferraris of the 21st century. With bespoke paintwork and an extensive list of options and accessories, this example is among the most desirable in the Icona series.”

Consignment opportunities are still available for the Broad Arrow Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Auction. Interested collectors can contact Broad Arrow Car Specialists in the UK, Europe, or North America, or visit broadarrowauctions.com for further details. Additional Broad Arrow auctions are scheduled in Europe for 2026, including the Zoute Concours Auction on 9 October and the Zürich Auction on 7 November.
