The M5 has a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an electric motor, producing 727 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. This power is distributed to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The M5 weighs 2,435 kg and has a starting price of around £111,000.

Next, we have the Audi RS6 Performance. This model features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine generating 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Like the M5, the power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It weighs 2,075 kg. A new RS6 Performance starts at around £116,000.

Finally, we have the AMG GT 63 S 4-Door. It also has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 639 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The power is distributed through a 9-speed automatic transmission, and the car weighs 2,135 kg. A second-hand 2019 version costs about £70,000, while a brand-new model sells for around £156,000.
