The refreshed 2026 Volvo XC60 has made its debut, and Howard Ritchie has the opportunity to test the XC60 T8 to evaluate whether it maintains its status as our SUV of the Year after two years.
This new facelift of the XC60 introduces several updates, including redesigned wheels, new colour choices, improved infotainment screens, enhanced sound insulation, and advanced safety features. However, a key question remains: can the price of this vehicle be justified?
During initial testing, it was observed that the new wheels may have introduced additional noise into the cabin. Despite this, the overall driving experience remains quieter than the 2023 XC60 model. Further testing will be carried out to verify the effect of the new wheels on road noise levels. Additionally, Jeremy Clarkson’s insights on this vehicle will be shared, along with details about a significant upgrade to the Bowers & Wilkins Sound System.
