Hagerty International, Classic Car Insurance, is transforming the UK enthusiast sector with new initiatives like the open-door Bicester Heritage Clubhouse and events such as RADwood and the Festival of the Unexceptional. They are excited to announce the launch of the Hagerty Drivers Club (HDC) in the UK.

Hagerty has extensive experience with enthusiast-led clubs, having launched the US version of the HDC in 2018, which now boasts over 830,000 members—making it the largest car enthusiast community in the world. Members have enjoyed numerous benefits, saving millions through exclusive offers, and this expertise is now being applied in the UK.

The UK HDC will be led by Mark Roper, Managing Director of Hagerty International, and Charlotte Moseley, Senior Manager of UK Marketing & Membership. Roper has significant experience from his time at American Express, and Moseley has successfully launched several car enthusiast programs in the UK.

The HDC is designed for all car enthusiasts, regardless of marque preference or experience. Key benefits include:

  • A dedicated rewards program
  • A diverse range of discounts and offers
  • Access to Hagerty’s industry experts through interactive forums
  • A quarterly magazine filled with insightful articles and exclusive content

The HDC rewards program allows members to earn rewards through engagement, which can be redeemed for valuable benefits. This inclusive approach offers members opportunities to enjoy discounted experiences related to cars and lifestyle.

Mark Roper stated, “Traditional owners’ clubs have not evolved; Hagerty aims to change that by providing easy access and relevant benefits to the community. We are proud to launch our UK-specific version of the HDC.”
