Honda UK is delighted to share the exciting news that we’ve clinched first place in the prestigious 2025 What Car? awards. Reliability Survey! With an outstanding overall score of 96.6%, this achievement brilliantly highlights our unwavering commitment to engineering excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.
These survey results are driven by invaluable feedback from an impressive group of 32,493 vehicle owners, representing vehicles up to five years old across 30 brands and 227 different models. Participants were asked whether they had experienced any issues with their vehicles in the past 24 months. The faults were assessed in terms of repair time and cost, resulting in a final score shown as a percentage.
Our remarkable top ranking is supported by stellar performances from our key models, including the Jazz, HR-V, and Civic. Each of these vehicles exemplified extraordinary reliability and impressively minimal downtime.

What Car? consumer editor Claire Evans noted, “Honda is a deserving winner of this year’s What Car? Reliability Survey, with all five rated models achieving exceptionally high scores. The current HR-V topped the list with a stellar rating of 97.5%, closely pursued by the latest Civic at 97.3%.”
Notably, only 15% of the Honda vehicles surveyed reported any issues, and all were promptly repaired at no cost to the owner. Furthermore, more than half of these vehicles were serviced within a day.
