Madonna fans and classic car enthusiasts will be excited to know that a rare 1967 Jaguar Mark X 4.2, previously owned by Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie, is up for auction with H&H Classics.
This distinctive car, often driven by Rocco in and around London, has been regularly used in the past few years. Madonna herself was recently photographed posing in the Jaguar, with the photos shared on her Instagram and also appearing in the national press.
The top-of-the-range Jaguar Mark X 4.2, primarily intended for the North American market, features impressive technical specifications and innovations, including independent rear suspension. This model, which can reach a top speed of 120mph, aims to appeal to heads of state, diplomats, and film stars. Only 5,137 Jaguar Mark X 4.2 litre models were ever built. This particular example has been repainted into Opalescent Maroon and is supplied with the original green log book.
The auction for Rocco’s Jaguar will take place on Wednesday, 9th October at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. It’s offered at no reserve, providing an exciting opportunity to own a piece of British motoring history with a remarkable celebrity connection.
