Alpha Recovery, a UK-based breakdown and recovery specialist, has acquired its first Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck from Bell Truck and Van. This decision was driven by the truck’s exceptional performance, advanced technology, driver comfort, and engine braking.

Operating across regions like Northumberland and Tyneside, Alpha Recovery offers 24/7 vehicle recovery services to both private and commercial clients. With a fleet of over 36 vehicles, including heavy recovery and specialist rescue services, the company is committed to setting high industry standards.

The Arocs, featuring a 15.6-litre engine with 627bhp and 3000Nm of torque, boasts an 8×4 configuration with steel suspension and a maximum gross train weight of 180 tonnes. It is equipped with a Falkom wrecker system designed for modern heavy recovery demands.

Michael Burke of Alpha Recovery expressed, “We chose the Arocs for its proven reliability with Mercedes vehicles. It has exceeded our expectations with its performance and exceptional fuel efficiency.”

The purchase was orchestrated by Alex Wordsworth of Bell Truck and Van, ensuring a smooth conversion process tailored to Alpha’s operational needs.

Michael noted, “The process was seamless, and our driver is thrilled with the truck’s comfort and capabilities.” Wordsworth added, “It’s fantastic to see our collaboration with Alpha result in a successful project.”
