On Saturday, 13th September, Polestar celebrated its fifth anniversary in the UK with the grand Polestar Festival at Bicester Motion, marking the UK debut of the Polestar 5, a four-door performance Grand Tourer. Around 1,000 customers joined the Polestar team, showcasing the brand’s growth since selling its first car in 2020, with over 45,000 vehicles now on UK roads.
The event saw 180 owners collaborate to create the world’s largest Polestar logo collage from customer cars, assembled in just three hours. Hosted by Vicki Butler-Henderson, the festival also unveiled the Polestar 5, developed in the UK from the Precept concept introduced in 2020.
Partners like Bowers & Wilkins and Google showcased their innovations in a dedicated zone. Attendees experienced the Arctic Circle collection and virtually drove models on simulators replicating a thrilling race track. The Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor was highlighted for setting a Guinness World Record for the longest electric SUV journey—581 miles on a single charge.
Throughout the day, performance demonstrations and panel discussions enriched the experience, with insightful talks from Polestar leaders. Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK, expressed gratitude, emphasising the positive response to the Polestar 5 and the company’s bright future.
