Subaru Europe has announced the launch of three new Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models in the UK, expanding its lineup in the country.
The new BEVs are based on the evolved e-Subaru Global Platform, offering increased power, improved range, and faster charging. The updated All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system automatically adjusts torque for better safety and traction. Additionally, Subaru will introduce two Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) single-motor versions of the Uncharted model for greater affordability and range.
SUBARU UNCHARTED
The Subaru Uncharted is the brand’s first fully electric compact SUV, crafted for outdoor adventurers. It features a rugged exterior, a well-equipped interior, a turning circle of 5.5 metres, 210 mm of ground clearance, and optimised suspension.
The Uncharted offers three drivetrain options: an AWD system with dual motors (252 kW, 344 PS) and a range of up to 292 miles, alongside two FWD versions with ranges of 363 miles (77 kWh) and 276 miles (57.7 kWh). All variants feature a 22 kW on-board charger that charges from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. The Uncharted is set to launch in the UK in early 2026.
SUBARU E-OUTBACK
The Subaru E-Outback, known as the Trailseeker in the UK, redefines the flagship Outback for the electric age. Equipped with a 74.7 kWh battery, it offers 280 kW (380 PS) and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds, with a range of over 279 miles. It features Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD, 210 mm ground clearance, dual X-MODE terrain system, and a towing capacity of 1,500 kg, along with advanced safety systems.
NEW SUBARU SOLTERRA
The updated Solterra features dual e-axles (252 kW, 344 PS), accelerates to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds, and has a 73.1 kWh battery with a range of over 310 miles. It can charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes at -10°C and has a towing capacity of 1,500 kg.
- The Subaru Uncharted and Solterra will launch in early 2026 in the UK, followed by the E-Outback in summer 2026.
