CHERY UK will launch the CHERY TIGGO 7, its second SUV for the UK market, priced at £24,995 OTR* for the 1.6-litre TDGI and £29,995 OTR* for the Super Hybrid. Designed for UK buyers, this compact crossover SUV features a fuel-efficient engine, a class-leading Super Hybrid system, comprehensive technology, and a generous 7-year warranty (or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first). Sales will begin later this summer through a UK-wide dealer network.
The CHERY TIGGO 7 offers two powertrains: a 1.6-litre Turbocharged Direct Gasoline Injection (TDGI) engine producing 147 PS, which enables 0-62 mph in 9.4 seconds, and a Super Hybrid model capable of 0-62 mph in just 8.5 seconds, with a total WLTP range of 745 miles, including 56 EV-only miles. The hybrid battery can be fast-charged in 20 minutes, alongside favorable tax benefits due to low CO₂ emissions of 23 g/km.
Available in two trim levels, the base Aspire grade includes a multi-function synthetic leather steering wheel, dual-zone air conditioning, and a six-speaker SONY audio system.
The Summit model adds features like ventilated front seats and hands-free tailgate access.
Both models feature a dual-screen setup with two 12.3-inch displays and various driving modes. The CHERY TIGGO 7 showcases a modern design with signature elements like tiger’s eye rear lights and Crystal coloured IQ LED headlights.
Farrell Hsu, Deputy Country Director of CHERY UK, emphasized that the CHERY TIGGO 7 delivers exceptional efficiency, value, and modern design, meeting the growing demand for well-equipped SUV alternatives in the market.
The CHERY TIGGO 7, along with the seven-seater TIGGO 8, will be available later this summer, backed by a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty and unlimited mileage in the first three years, plus RAC Home Start cover.
The Super Hybrid model will include an 8-year battery warranty.
