XPENG UK has selected Ohme as its exclusive partner for home EV charging, making it easier for XPENG customers to switch to electric vehicles by offering a home charger and installation services through the retail network.
“Partnering with such a fast-growing brand like XPENG is fantastic,” said Peter McDonald, Ohme Mobility Director. “We look forward to offering easy charging and lower running costs to XPENG customers.”
XPENG, recognised for advanced technological solutions, launched its first model, the all-electric XPENG G6, in the UK in January 2025. This mid-size coupe SUV combines performance, innovative technology, and zero tailpipe emissions, aiming to establish a new standard in electric mobility.
Ohme, the UK’s largest home EV charging company and Europe’s fastest-growing, will offer customers a complete charger and support package. Customers buying an XPENG G6 Long Range will receive a free Ohme home EV charger until the end of September.
William Brown, XPENG UK Managing Director, expressed excitement about the partnership, noting Ohme’s dynamic charging capabilities and excellent customer service.
Ohme’s chargers use real-time grid data and are compatible with the best energy tariffs, optimising charging costs. For example, fully charging an XPENG G6 Long Range could cost just £6.13 for a 354-mile range on a dynamic tariff. Ohme also enables charging during peak renewable energy production to further reduce CO2 impact.
Ohme is also the official charger provider for Motability Operations and has received awards for Best Electric Charging Point Provider and Best Electric Van Charging Point Provider.
