Carwow’s Matt Watson and Team have got their hands on the fastest version of every Tesla, and they’re about to face off in a drag race!

The plan is to race the tri-motor Cybertruck, the Model S Plaid, the Model X Plaid, the Model 3 Performance, and the Model Y Performance to see which one takes the top spot over the quarter-mile.

They’ll be comparing the five contenders. Specifically, the Cybertruck, the three-motor Cyberbeast edition, produces 845 hp and 930 Nm of torque while weighing an impressive 3,104 kg. In the UK, it costs around £150,000, including import taxes.

Next, they have the Plaids. Both the Model S and Model X are equipped with three motors, producing 1,020 hp and 1,420 Nm. The Model S weighs 2,190 kg and costs £116,000, while the Model X weighs 2,464 kg and is priced at £127,000.

Looking at the two Performance models. The Model 3 Performance has two motors producing 460 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It weighs 1,839 kg and costs around £60,000. The Model Y Performance also has two motors, generating 527 hp and 660 Nm. It weighs 1,997 kg and is similarly priced at around £60,000.

So, will the Plaids come out on top, or could the Cyberbeast pull off a surprise? There’s only one way to find out. Let the challenge to find the best begin…
