Wheelie Bad Ideas (Auto Trader) is back, and this time we’re trying our biggest experiment so far.
They have already tried train wheels and tiny wheels, so now we went the other way and put 44-inch off-road tyres on a BMW Z4. The big question: Can a sports car with huge wheels really handle off-road driving?
To find out, Auto Trader took the Z4 into the mud and put it up against the Defender OCTA, widely regarded as one of the world’s best off-road vehicles. In this video, you can see if bigger wheels can really turn a sports car into a true off-roader, or if it was doomed from the start.
