The new Volkswagen Crafter is now available for order. The starting price is £45,660 On the Road (OTR), with deliveries starting in mid-August.
The new Crafter has an upgraded interior and enhanced equipment, including new standard and optional driver assist systems such as Front Assist, Lane Assist, Dynamic Road Sign Display, speed limiter, and acoustic Park Distance Control for the rear area. It also offers optional features like Travel Assist and Emergency Assist.
Connectivity is taken to a new level with the new Composition Colour 10.4-inch infotainment system. This user-friendly system features wireless smartphone charging, USB-C connection, App-Connect, and integrated eSIM and mobile online services as part of We Connect. The optional Discover Media satellite navigation system also enhances the driving experience with its 12.9-inch colour touch-screen with a proximity sensor.
The new Crafter features a refreshed dashboard design with a Digital Cockpit instrument cluster and revised steering wheel. The electronic handbrake switch, selector for the optional automatic gearbox, controls for light functions, heating and ventilation controls, and air vents have been redesigned and relocated for enhanced ease of use.
The new Crafter offers various customization options, with multiple body styles, drivetrain arrangements, and engine options. It is available in Commerce and Commerce Plus trim lines, with medium wheelbase with a high roof, long wheelbase with a high roof, and long wheelbase Maxi high roof configurations. Both CR30 (3,000 kg GVW) and CR35 (3,500kg GVW) models are available with different engine and drivetrain options, while CR50 (5,000 kg GVW) is exclusively available with a 163PS 2.0-litre TDI engine and rear-wheel drive, catering to a wide range of commercial needs.
The Crafter Commerce starts at £45,660 OTR, while the Crafter Commerce Plus starts at £52,704.
