The Honda Civic Type R has secured the Hot Hatch of the Year award at the 2025 Auto Express New Car Awards for the third year running, strengthening its reputation as the ultimate performance hatchback.
In its sixth generation, the Civic Type R has established a high standard for hot hatches, with this victory adding to its accolades from 2023 and 2024. The Auto Express New Car Awards recognise the best vehicles across 27 categories, focusing on factors like practicality, efficiency, price, reliability, and driving experience.
