Subaru Europe announced that the all-new Subaru Forester will arrive in the UK in early Spring 2025 and has achieved a maximum five-star overall rating from the 2024 European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP). The Forester excelled in all four key assessment areas: adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, vulnerable road users, and safety assistance, making it the latest Subaru model to attain this high rating.

In the Vulnerable Road Users category, the Forester earned maximum points for its Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB) system for cyclists and lane support for motorcyclists. It also scored top marks in Adult Occupant tests, demonstrating excellent protection in side impact tests and featuring an advanced eCall system to alert emergency services in case of a crash.

For Child Occupant protection, the Forester achieved maximum points by automatically disabling the front passenger airbag when a rearward-facing child seat is used. It includes a child presence detection feature that warns if a child may be left in the car.

In the Safety Assist category, the Forester received top points for its Lane Keep Assist system, which helps maintain the vehicle’s lane position and includes a driver monitoring system to detect fatigue or distraction.

The redesigned sixth-generation Forester showcases a sharper front design and is equipped with upgraded EyeSight Assist Technology and a new Emergency Driving Stop System. More details on specifications and pricing will be available closer to the launch.
