Škoda Auto has unveiled exterior sketches of its all-new electric seven-seater SUV, the Peaq, marking a significant step forward for the automaker. With its visual identity shaped by sharply contoured surfaces, crisp lines, and striking lighting features, the Peaq aims to establish itself as the brand’s new flagship.
Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Škoda Auto, emphasised the team’s commitment to the Modern Solid design language in shaping the Peaq. According to Neuhold, the design combines clean lines, balanced proportions, and distinctive elements, resulting in a confident and timeless appearance. Signature features—including T-shaped headlights and the Tech-Deck Face—reflect Škoda’s evolving identity in the era of electric mobility.
At the front, the Peaq is distinguished by slender T-shaped headlights and a gloss-black Tech-Deck Face, connected by a frame-like loop motif. Meanwhile, the ‘Volcano-shaped’ bumper, characterized by a pronounced lower contour and a sharply defined horizontal line, provides a striking contrast to the upper design elements.
From the side, a high shoulder line and broad D-pillars reinforce the vehicle’s robust stance. Structured surfaces further accentuate its bold proportions, while the sketches also reveal flush door handles that are seamlessly integrated into the bodywork.
The rear design echoes the front, featuring T-shaped tail-lights and a connecting element that together create the unmistakable loop motif. As a result, the Peaq is visually distinctive and easily recognizable from any angle.
The world premiere of the all-new Škoda Peaq will take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, at 18:25 on 23 June.
