Hennessey, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has unveiled the new SUPER VENOM® Mustang, which showcases a range of performance, aerodynamic, and styling upgrades.
The power of the 5.0L V8 engine has been increased by 70%, raising the output from 500 bhp to 850 bhp, along with a 55% improvement in torque. This model includes the bespoke ‘VenomAero’ carbon fibre performance kit for enhanced handling and cooling, solidifying its status as the world’s most capable high-performance muscle car.
Founder and CEO John Hennessey stated, “We are excited to unveil the SUPER VENOM Mustang, combining supercar performance and full warranty options from Ford dealers. To mark our founding in 1991, we will offer only 91 units with a unique ’91 Icon’ livery.”
Key enhancements include a high-flow air induction system, a supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors and pump, and Hennessey’s engine management system. The ‘VenomAero’ kit boasts a more aggressive front splitter, functional hood vent, side skirts, and a rear track wing.
The SUPER VENOM Mustang can be ordered through authorised Ford dealers. The SUPER VENOM Dark Horse is priced at $163,950, while the SUPER VENOM GT starts at $149,950, both supported by a full Ford factory warranty and a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty from Hennessey.
