MG Motor UK has made significant progress in the first quarter of 2025, achieving its best start to the year with 24,641 new vehicle registrations, representing a 6.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. March registrations were particularly strong, totalling 15,876 deliveries, which included a 91.8 percent rise in sales to private customers.
The growth was mainly driven by the MG ZS SUV, which recorded 9,041 registrations and was the ninth best-selling car in the UK. The new ZS Hybrid+, launched in late 2024, became the top-selling hybrid, while the MG HS had 9,738 registrations, making it the seventh best seller.
MG’s market share rose from 4.18% in 2024 to 4.24% in the first quarter of 2025.
