OMODA has announced pricing and opened order books for its flagship all-wheel drive model.The OMODA 9 SHS, in the UK. Priced at £44,990 OTR*, deliveries are expected to start through a network of 73 dealers in June.
The OMODA 9 SHS showcases a comprehensive ‘everything as standard’ approach. It features a self-charging powertrain with a WLTP range of over 700 miles, including 93 miles of electric-only capability, emitting just 40 g/km CO2. Key highlights include an intelligent four-wheel drive system, electromagnetic suspension, 20 advanced driver assistance features, a luxurious interior with a 14-speaker SONY surround sound system, heated and ventilated seats, and ambient lighting.
This hybrid SUV features a 1.5-litre TGDI engine paired with dual electric motors. The engine produces a combined output of 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque and can achieve 0-62 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Thanks to soundproofing elements like double laminated glass, the cabin provides an ultra-quiet experience, measuring a mere 45.8 dB at urban speeds.
Designed with the golden ratio for balanced proportions, the OMODA 9 features striking daytime running lights. Inside, a 24.6-inch high-definition display integrates driver and infotainment functions, while electronically controlled reclining rear seats enhance comfort.
Victor Zhang, the UK Country Director for OMODA UK, stated that the OMODA 9 embodies a fusion of modern design and functional technology that integrates seamlessly into drivers’ lives. This SUV combines refinement, technology, and safety, all at a mid-sized SUV price.
Order books are now open, with deliveries set to start in June.
