The new Volvo XC90 has been revealed. This flagship hybrid SUV has been updated with new technology and design features to make it even better. It’s a premium seven-seater known for its comfort and safety.
In plug-in hybrid form, it offers over 70 kilometers of full electric range on a single charge, with around half of the distance covered using pure electric power. The hybrid powertrain is paired with an efficient petrol engine to extend the range by more than 800km for longer trips.
The exterior design has been updated to reflect Volvo’s move towards full electrification, while the interior now features a larger central touchscreen with higher resolution and new features.
According to Jim Rowan, CEO of Volvo Cars, the new XC90 delivers on comfort, space, luxury, versatility, and hybrid efficiency. The XC90 and its fully electric sibling, the EX90, provide customers with a balanced portfolio as Volvo continues its transition towards full electrification.
