The car made its world debut in June in Andermatt, Switzerland. However, its appearance at Britain’s most prestigious luxury automotive Concours, held in a setting of unmatched grandeur, will mark the first time that the well-informed UK audience can see it.
The first-ever Naran model was initially announced in 2021 and built in Germany before completion in Coventry, UK. Company founder Ameerh Naran views it as the perfect combination of an ultra-high-performance vehicle and an object of pure beauty.
The debut vehicle will be showcased on the lawn, and members of the Naran team will be available to provide further details about what promises to be a rare vehicle—only 39 will be produced. Each car will be a unique luxury creation with extensive customization options, including the opportunity for owners to name their own edition.
Ameerh Naran, founder and CEO of Naran, commented: “Our cars are about indulging our owners in unrivaled tailoring and visceral performance, offering them everything they have ever dreamt of in a vehicle, in terms of aesthetics, luxury, and driving experience.
Our unprecedented customization options mean our customers can even give their vehicle its name. Furthermore, since the car has four seats, our owners can share their vision with others.”
The car will be capable of producing up to 1,000bhp thanks to its bespoke 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, resulting in an impressive 0-60mph time. Those choosing a more race track-inspired aero pack, influenced by the adjustable systems used in motorsport to enhance downforce, will benefit from an aerodynamic package promising a GT3-style driving experience on the road and track.
The car’s sleek lines and aggressive, motorsport-inspired styling were crafted by Jowyn Wong, the stylist behind Apollo IE and De Tomaso P72. The design comprises composite panels bookended by striking, hinged clamshells at each end.
On the inside, premium CNC-milled billet aluminium, tri-hue minimalistic soft-touch textiles, and leather are featured as opulent materials. However, owners have the option to specify an extensive range of materials, styling, and finishes.
Owners can also customize the car’s exterior to reflect their preferred style and elegance on public roads or opt for a more aggressive, performance-led aero pack.
The launch prototype model flaunts a luxurious ruby-themed exterior finish, with a cockpit adorned with delicate almond gold accents. The upper environment features ruby-woven textile, while the lower surfaces are finished in leather, upholstering the carbon-shelled seats. Woven fabric and removable carpets in darker smoke and charcoal black hues give the interior a high-end feel, even in the footwells.
The centre console, featuring a panel display in stone grey and black chrome accents, and various other dashboard elements are finished with satin ruby and almond gold paint.
Owners of the Naran have access to an almost limitless range of options, including requests for horsehair, marble and granite effects, and gold leaf trim. Deposits of £300,000 are now being accepted to secure an allocation.
