The Mercedes-AMG is marking 130 Years of Motorsport with the limited Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 130Y Motorsport, presented at the Automotive Week in Pebble Beach, California.
This particular edition car combines modern motorsport technology with design features from the 1950s and boasts a powerful 680 hp non-homologated engine. The car is exclusive, with only 13 units available worldwide. Its performance upgrades include improved aerodynamics, a Drag Reduction System (DRS), and a high-performance braking system with carbon discs. The car also features a sequential six-speed racing transmission, adjustable 4-way motorsport shock absorbers, and various safety attributes.

In February of this year, Jules Gounon, the Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver, showcased the exceptional performance of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 130Y Motorsport at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia. He set a new track record for GT cars, completing the 6.213-kilometre circuit in 1 minute 56.605 seconds, beating the previous record by 2.074 seconds after two years of development and rigorous testing.
A complete delivery package is included, with the package consisting of a specially designed vehicle cover and full racing equipment for the driver. The race kit, co-designed by Mercedes-AMG Official Partner PUMA, is inspired by the vehicle’s exterior stylistic features. It contains a personalized racing suit, gloves, racing underwear, and shoes. Additionally, customers will receive a high-quality, customized helmet from BELL, along with a personalized bag that matches the seat cover in a stylish blue chequered pattern, providing ample space for all the racing equipment. To top it off, customers will also get a 1:8 scale model car of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 130Y Motorsport and an exclusive, personalized certificate of authenticity.
