The new all-electric ID.3 GTX Performance can be ordered from any Volkswagen UK Retailer starting on August 29th. The price is £46,225, including VAT. This model has a range of 369 miles and features an 84 kWh gross (79 kWh net) battery that provides 326 PS and 545 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 5.7 seconds.
Also, the new car comes with sports suspension, progressive steering, and Volkswagen’s DCC adaptive chassis control system as standard for dynamic road handling. It can be rapidly charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes at DC stations of up to 185 kW. It also supports domestic charging at up to 11 kW AC.
ID.3 GTX Performance has a distinctive design with unique exterior elements, 20-inch Skagen black alloy wheels, and a sporty interior with premium ergoActive sports seats and a GTX-specific cockpit surface. It also includes features like metallic paint, a Harman Kardon sound system, and augmented-reality head-up display as standard.
According to Kai Grünitz, Member of the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management, “The ID.3 GTX Performance is, for me, the electric counterpart to the Golf GTI Clubsport. Volkswagen is transferring the almost 50-year tradition of its compact GT models into the world of electric mobility. Driving pleasure is guaranteed.”
