The second generation of the Škoda Kodiaq vRS features a powerful 2.0 TSI petrol engine that produces 265 PS (195 kW). Its glossy black exterior details, sporty bumpers, and distinctive front grille make it easily recognizable as part of the vRS family. Standard equipment includes LED Matrix beam headlights, progressive steering, DCC Plus, and a Canton sound system, with two Design Selections available for customers.
Johannes Neft, Board Member for Technical Development at Škoda Auto, says: “The all-new Kodiaq vRS boasts a powerful 2.0 TSI engine with 265 PS (195 kW), 20 PS (15 kW) more than before. It features all-wheel drive for optimal traction and ventilated brake discs with two-piston calipers on the front for excellent stopping power. This dynamic Kodiaq merges sportiness with everyday practicality.”
Škoda vRS models are characterized by numerous black exterior accents. The second-generation Kodiaq vRS features a glossy black finish on the grille frame, exterior mirror covers, window frames, roof rails, and D-pillar, creating a cohesive look with the darkened rear windows. It boasts a sporty front bumper with black components and a distinctive front grille with a horizontal light strip.
The rear includes a reflector across the width of the vehicle, while the Škoda lettering and model name appear in black. The rear bumper and side sills match the body color, and polished stainless-steel exhaust tips complete the design. Exclusive 20-inch Elias alloy wheels have a polished black finish, and the brakes are designed for the car’s higher power output, with ventilated discs and red-painted calipers.
The Kodiaq vRS comes with standard features including LED Matrix beam headlights, animated indicators, and the KESSY Advanced system for keyless entry. The enhanced DCC Plus Dynamic Chassis Control offers 15 damping settings, and the Driving Mode Select allows drivers to choose from multiple driving modes. The spacious interior is complemented by a standard Canton sound system.
The new Kodiaq vRS is powered by a 2.0 TSI petrol engine with 265 PS (195 kW), an increase of 20 PS over the previous model, and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. It complies with the EU 6 EB emissions standard and features a standard 7-speed DSG transmission for all-wheel drive. Progressive steering enhances handling, while Dynamic Sound Boost amplifies the engine’s sound.
The interior of the Kodiaq vRS offers two Design Selections. The vRS Lounge Design Selection features sports seats with integrated headrests in black microsuede/artificial leather with red contrast stitching, with both front seats being electrically adjustable and equipped with a memory function. The dashboard, door inserts, and center armrest are also finished in black microsuede.
The optional vRS Suite Design Selection includes sports seats in black perforated leather/artificial leather, with similar red stitching details.
Standard features include a 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel with a vRS badge, stainless steel pedal covers, and “Kodiaq” lettering on the front door sills. The laminated glass windows enhance sound insulation, and like other Kodiaq models, it boasts a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit and a 13-inch infotainment screen displaying a vRS welcome logo upon entry.
